TOGA import half a million face masks for major Irish retailer.

The staff at TOGA didn’t stop at all during the “lockdown” in Ireland. In fact, our team became critical to the supply chain bringing in all types of products for the Health Service and most retailers.

On April 20th we organised the urgent airfreight shipment of half a million facemasks for distribution to one or Ireland’s largest retailers, for them to issue to their staff to ensure they could remain open and safe.

The shipment was collected from the supplier in China before being shipped by airfreight to Doha. From there, TOGA contracted Qatar Airlines to fly on the next available flight to Dublin. Departing at 1am that night, the goods arrived in Dublin Airport on time at 7:19am where our truck was waiting. The goods were palletised and reloaded out to the client before midday the same day.
