ROAD FREIGHT
In 2024, Toga Freight opened their UK hub in Coleshill, Birmingham. The 160,000 sq ft facility is one of the most advanced and secure facilities in the UK. The new premises also houses our UK operations team and our national sales teams as well as our Group Commercial Director. With 15,000 racked pallet spaces, separate pick and pack and fulfilment areas and food grade status, this facility can handle all logistical needs. From here Toga control the bulk of our UK operations and load up to 30 groupage trailers weekly for Ireland and well as daily departures to our partner hubs in mainland Europe.

In addition, we are the Irish Depot of the giant UK parcel and pallet network, DX, which gives us connections across the UK via that network. We load multiple mixed groupage trailers every day from the DX Hubs. Based in Dublin, Toga’s imports team also arranges daily collections from many of our 200+ UK based customers. These are mainly manufacturers and wholesalers, many of whom will load full trailers of multiple shipments for their Irish based customers for us to collect in bulk, thereby maximising the potential savings they can make with shipping and customs charges.

UK imports has been a core activity for Toga Freight for over 45 years. We offer the full spectrum of services from all parts of the UK. At the heart of our service are our valued partners, many of whom we have developed a strong working relationship with over decades. The majority of our Great Britain operations are co-ordinated by our own teams on the ground, and goods are collected via a network of trusted partners to be consolidated at our main Birmingham and London hubs. We also have trusted and long-established partners who collect on our behalf and then consolidate with their own goods for onward shipping to our Dublin Depot. On average we load over 20 “groupage” trailers every day from these main areas:
