CUSTOMS
Our advanced facility is protected by the latest security technology.
Our servers are remotely backed up every few seconds and in the event of a catastrophic disaster, such as a fire, we will be able to restart business remotely within a few hours with no loss of data.
Use of physical backups at other TOGA facilities, and cloud backups offer additional redundancy of back up.

BONDED WAREHOUSE
Toga operated a Customs ACP Bond on site as a part of our transit warehouse facility in Dublin 12.
WHAT IS A BONDED WAREHOUSE?
A Bonded Warehouse is a customs-controlled warehouse or secured area, where dutiable (imported) goods are retained until such time that the duty owed on the goods is paid.
A Tax Warehouse Bond is a Revenue & Customs Bond required by Revenue & Customs for bonded warehouses and goods held therein. It acts as security to ensure that the Government receives payment for duties and taxes on goods held which are dutiable.
Upon entry of goods into the warehouse, the importer and warehouse proprietor incur liability under a bond. This liability is generally cancelled when the goods are:
-
exported; or deemed exported.
-
withdrawn for supplies to a vessel or aircraft in international traffic.
-
destroyed under Customs supervision; or
-
withdrawn for consumption domestically after payment of duty.

TOGA
While the goods are in the bonded warehouse, they may, under supervision by the customs authority, be manipulated by cleaning, sorting, repacking, or otherwise changing their condition by processes that do not amount to manufacturing.
Customs warehousing is one of a number of procedures provided for in EU legislation which are referred to collectively as Special Procedures. Customs warehousing allows non-Union goods to be stored in a designated location within the customs territory of the EU without being subject to import duties. Duty becomes payable when the goods are released for free circulation.
Toga can receive your Bonded goods from across the world and look after all the formalities for you.
Further information can be found on the Revenue website.
SWITZERLAND & TURKEY
Toga operates our own services to Switzerland and Turkey in both directions. We are very experienced in handling cargo from these countries and the processes involved.
We can offer excellent freight rates including local delivery and collection, as well as all the customs formalities, but if you are using another freight carrier, we will still be delighted to handle the customs formalities for you on arrival in Ireland.

HIGH VOLUME CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
Toga has developed software to enable large volumes of clearances to be processed electronically.
We can read commercial invoices electronically when provided in our standardised formats.
For groupage operators, we can electronically import commercial invoice data that is relevant to individual freight jobs and process the clearance and data sharing to Revenue electronically.
For UK to Ireland exporters after Brexit, we can submit the UK Export entries, the safety & security declarations and then look after the Irish clearance.
Solutions for high-volume E-Commerce imports
Thanks in part to the advanced software used by Toga Customs Services, we are able to process E-Commerce customs clearances in very high volumes. Whether you require H1 or H7 reduced data set entries, we can help you to present you data to us in a compatible format so that you can benefit from fast, low cost clearances.
A full package of alerts and reporting are available to you so that communication with your final mile delivery partner is efficient and accurate.
Parcel & Pallet Network “Back Office” services
Without becoming involved directly with the individual depots, we are able to put software in place, or customs booking forms in-bedded in the network’s own website, so that data flows to us and the customs process happens behind the scenes.
With API processes to receive data, and reporting and status updates going back down the line, our clients are able to have visibility on routings and customs delays.
A full service including duty and VAT collection is available with us of our customs TAN accounts.
We would welcome the opportunity to discuss trade enquiries with you.

Customs Processes for Plants and Food products
Since Brexit, the movement of plants and foodstuffs into Ireland from Great Britain has been tightly controlled. There are requirements for Phytosanitary Certificates and CHED forms to be issued as a part of the customs process.
The team at Toga Customs Services are very experienced in this field and can advise you on the process and the time constraints for submitting documents.
We manage the customs process for clients importing live cultures, dairy products, vegetables and alcohol.
